About Me

- Name: J. Bob

For the past 23 years I have taught in Idaho, Kuwait, Korea, Myanmar, and Phoenix. My hobbies are rock hounding, reading, and traveling. I enjoy taking my students mineral collecting on the weekend. Our most recent trip was to collect mica near Cleator, AZ. We found huge books of mica in a pegmatite. My wife Dell and I have four daughters and six grandchildren. My favorite vacation was to the Grand Canyon where I rafted the Colorado River from Lee’s Ferry to Diamond Creek. My favorite sport is football and my favorite food is Asian.

I think I should come visit Chengdu with my ten elective students. You have enough room to accommodate all of us!
We began classes this week and one of the assignments was to find your blog. I hope they will so that they can see another slice of China through your eyes.

Hey J. Bob-
Good to see you even if it is in China. Your apartment looks great and I love your bike. It looks like you have lots of students but I love your schedule. Good luck with your school year and have fun.

You know me, fun is at the top of the order. Where are you going on the overnight field trip this year? Say hi to the gang from me.
