Famous Leaders

Hi all,
Here is a picture from school of famous leaders/philosophers and an assortment of Chinese flags. I will have to get an explanation from someone at school. I recognize the last gentleman as Chairman Mao. I am not sure who the others are. Stalin? Lenin? Trotsky? Hey! I teach science give me a break. Send a comment if you know who the people are or if you understand why there are 5 flags.

    About the flags:

The one in the middle is the flag of the Chinese Communist Party. The one on the left above is the Chinese National Flag. The one below it is the flag for the Chinese Youth League. The one on the right above is the flag for the People's Liberation Army. And the one below it is the flag for the Chinese Young Pioneers.

I pride myself in not knowing Chinese history......just kidding. Marx I know but the rest, not so much. Looks like the kids are having fun. I hope they get your jokes. I guess M&M's are universal???
